Directions to ISS from the South (Atlanta or Chattanooga)
225 miles (360 km), 3hrs 45 minutes from the Hartsfield Airport in Atlanta
- Take I-75N about 150 miles to 27N in Chattanooga.
- Take 27N about 20 miles, through Soddy Daisy, almost to Dunlap where it splits to State Highway 111. The split is clearly marked. Take 111 through Spencer and Sparta to Cookeville.
- Exit at the Cookeville Algood Exit. It is the 2nd exit after you cross over I-40.
- Go Left (west) toward Cookeville. You are on 10th Street, which is also called the Algood-Cookeville Highway.
- Continue down to the fifth traffic light including the one at the end of the exit ramp. Turn Right on Brown Avenue.
- You will cross some railroad tracks. Continue to the End of Brown.
- ISS is sitting at two o’clock from that. It is a large Tan Building with about 12 loading dock doors kitty corner from Brown.

- Take Interstate Highway 40 West (I 40 West) to Exit 288. This is State Highway 111.
- Go Right (north) to the Second Exit. This is the Cookeville Algood exit.
- Go Left (west) toward Cookeville. You are on 10th Street, which is also called the Algood-Cookeville Highway.
