Cyclone Centrifuge System
The Cyclone II centrifuge dewaters 50 lbs of product in thirty seconds and can extend crispness and shelf freshness by as much as 30 percent.
Thirty seconds, and a third more shelf life
The ISS Cyclone II Centrifuge is fast, strong and simple to operate. In thirty seconds it can extend the crispness and freshness of 50 pounds of product by as much as 30 percent. Water left on a finished sprout is what turns a good crop into a soft one in the customer’s cooler, so this is the machine that decides how your product looks on day four.

The unbalanced load problem
Product never loads evenly in a real production setting. A centrifuge frame that is not engineered for that walks across the floor, wears its bearings out early and eventually cracks a weld. The Cyclone frame is built for the load it actually gets rather than the load a drawing assumes, which is the difference between a machine that lasts a decade and one that is a maintenance line item.
Why this matters for food safety
Sprouts are grown in warm, wet conditions, which is exactly what a pathogen wants, and the FDA treats them as a covered commodity with its own rules under 21 CFR part 112, subpart M. Equipment that can be taken apart and cleaned properly is not a nice extra in that environment. It is how you pass an inspection and how you keep a recall from ever starting. A chlorine resistant baked on finish is there for a reason. Sanitizer is hard on stainless, and a finish that degrades gives you pitting, and pitting gives bacteria somewhere to live.
Where it sits in the line
The centrifuge is the last stage before packing. It takes product from the Wash System or the Vibrating Huller and hands it on to the pack-off table or the packaging machine. See the Sentrex Mung Bean System page for the full line.
Talk to us about your line
Every sprouting operation is laid out differently, so sizing this machine is a conversation, not a catalog lookup. Tell us what you grow, how much of it you move in a week and what the room looks like, and we will tell you which configuration fits. Call (800) 277-7688 or send us a note and we will get back to you with specifications, lead time and installation detail for your situation.
