TRAC System
A compact green sprout growing system that produces over 3,000 lbs of finished bulk sprouts per harvest from a 10 by 21 ft footprint, and expands to 18,000 lbs per week.
What it produces, and in how much space
The TRAC System is a compact, tightly organized growing system that cuts the time and labor a green sprout crop takes and keeps the process cleaner along the way. In a 10 by 21 ft area (3 m by 6.4 m), the standard TRAC I produces over 3,000 lbs (1,360.8 kg) of finished bulk sprouts per harvest, or close to 700 twelve-pack cases of container grown sprouts. Run alongside our Rota-Tech Rotary Drum sprouting system, a TRAC III can reach up to 18,000 lbs (8,181 kg) per week.
Three models, and you can start small
TRAC comes in three expandable models: TRAC I, TRAC II and TRAC III. The TRAC III grows 6,000 lbs (2,721.56 kg) per harvest, or 18,000 lbs (8,182 kg) per week when it is paired with the Rota-Tech system. The word that matters there is expandable. You are not buying your five year capacity on day one and paying to heat empty racks in the meantime.

Why this matters for food safety
Sprouts are grown in warm, wet conditions, which is exactly what a pathogen wants, and the FDA treats them as a covered commodity with its own rules under 21 CFR part 112, subpart M. Equipment that can be taken apart and cleaned properly is not a nice extra in that environment. It is how you pass an inspection and how you keep a recall from ever starting. Consistency is a food safety feature, not just a business one. A process that runs the same way every harvest is a process you can write a plan around and prove you followed.
Seed for the crops TRAC grows
We supply seed for the full list above, including alfalfa, broccoli, kale, radish, daikon, pea and arugula.
Where it sits in the line
TRAC is the growing stage. The Rota-Tech Rotary Drum feeds it, and the Cyclone Centrifuge System dewaters what comes off it before packing.
Talk to us about your line
Every sprouting operation is laid out differently, so sizing this machine is a conversation, not a catalog lookup. Tell us what you grow, how much of it you move in a week and what the room looks like, and we will tell you which configuration fits. Call (800) 277-7688 or send us a note and we will get back to you with specifications, lead time and installation detail for your situation.
